2024 Chinese New Year Gala VI Design

In the 2024 Chinese New Year Gala event organised by the Confucius Institute for Dance and Performance at Goldsmiths University, I was responsible for the event visual design. With my passion for design and deep understanding of Chinese culture, I was committed to creating a series of creative and traditional visual elements to enhance the promotional effect and attractiveness of the event.
This project includes poster design, ticket design and programme list design.
Through detailed communication with the event coordinator, I decided to design the poster in the form of illustration and geometrized the image of the Chinese dragon, extracted the colours from the traditional Chinese dragon lanterns. This combined the traditional with the modern to give the design a youthful and fashionable look.
These visual designs not only effectively increased the exposure and publicity efficiency of the event on various promotional channels, but more importantly, they attracted a large number of audience members and boosted the registration of the event to 300 people, laying a solid foundation for the success of the event.
